It will keep you posted about your heart conditions, especially arrhythmia, irregular heartbeat, just in time to keep any mishap at bay. This first of its kind medical grade wearable, costing a bomb (rupees one lakh to be precise) for regular people, was inaugurated Tuesday here and promises to be most effective sentinel on heart. Cases of heart-related conditions have seen an extraordinary spike in recent years not only among the elderly and the middle-aged but even among the younger populations in India. According to experts, India may face the unenviable prospect of having the greatest number of cardiac deaths in the world by 2030. In fact, one-fourth of deaths in India may occur due to cardio-vascular diseases alone in the country.
