Cases of heart-related conditions have seen an extraordinary spike in recent years not only among the elderly and the middle-aged but even among the younger populations in India. According to experts, India may face the unenviable prospect of having the greatest number of cardiac deaths in the world by 2030. In fact, one-fourth of deaths in India may occur due to cardio-vascular diseases alone in the country.
