Zydus granted Approval for macitentan tablets granted by USFDA

A wholly owned subsidiary of Cadila Healthcare Limited, Zydus Worldwide DMCC, has received tentative approval from the USFDA regarding macitentan 10 mg tablets .

The medication is helpful in treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension. The manufacturing of drug will take place at CMO Umedica Laboratories Pvt Ltd, Vapi, Gujarat.

At present, The group has 287 approvals and has so far filed over 386 ANDAs since the commencement of the filing process in FY 2003-04.
