In Odisha, Shop Supplying Duplicate Medicines To Chhattisgarh Raided

BALANGIR: A joint team of Titlagarh and Chhattisgarh police raided a medicine shop in Bolangir district late last night for allegedly selling duplicate medicines.

The crackdown from the police came following the allegations that the medicine shop named Ayesha Medical Store was supplying duplicate medicine to neighbouring Chhattisgarh.

The raid was carried out in presence of the magistrate, sources informed, adding that, the police have informed the Directorate of Drug Control, Odisha about the incident.

It is worthwhile to mention here that the sale of duplicate medicine in the market is nothing new in Odisha.
