FUJIFILM India is zeroing in on Indian Gut with Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy

The healthcare technology Company comes of age for treating gut conditions.

New Delhi: FUJIFILM India’s competence for viewing innards of gut most vividly and treating conditions concomitantly has come of age. It strengthens therapeutic endoscopy portfolio with advanced next generation Therapeutic Gastroscopes at Endocon 2026. Its therapeutic endoscope armamentarium is now equipped with latest gastroscopes. Its new therapeutic endoscopy now offers advanced imaging coupled with enhanced maneuverability and dedicated therapeutic capabilities to
support complex gastrointestinal procedures.

The leading healthcare technology company has expanded its ELUXEO 8000 endoscopy portfolio with the launch of its next-generation therapeutic gastroscopes at Endocon 2026. India is witnessing a growing burden of gastrointestinal diseases, including digestive disorders and gastrointestinal cancers, driving greater demand for early diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment options.

As therapeutic endoscopy becomes increasingly important in modern gastroenterology, healthcare providers are looking for technologies that not only deliver high-quality imaging but also help perform complex procedures with greater precision, efficiency and confidence. Responding to these evolving needs, the new addition strengthens FUJIFILM India’s therapeutic endoscopy offering by combining advanced imaging, improved maneuverability and clinician-friendly workflow features to support more accurate diagnosis and treatment during complex gastrointestinal procedures.

At the centre of the launch are the latest generation therapeutic GI scopes including gastroscopes, colonoscopes, duodenoscopes and therapeutic gastroscopes for third space procedures, designed to help clinicians perform advanced therapeutic procedures with greater ease. Equipped with high-sensitivity CMOS imaging, enhanced bending capability and a dedicated therapeutic instrument channel, the new gastroscopes provide better access to difficult-to-reach areas while
offering improved control during procedures. The slim therapeutic model further enables physicians to work comfortably in narrower anatomical spaces without compromising on therapeutic capability. Together, these innovations are designed to support more precise treatment while improving procedural efficiency.

The therapeutic gastroscopes complement the ELUXEO 8000 Endoscopy System, which combines 4K-ready imaging with Fujifilm’s latest image enhancement technologies to deliver brighter, sharper images and improved visualisation during both diagnosis and treatment. The system also introduces Amber-red Color Imaging (ACI), a new observation mode that helps clinicians identify subtle colour differences associated with blood, supporting greater confidence during therapeutic procedures. Along with seamless compatibility across Fujifilm’s endoscopy portfolio and an integrated workflow designed for busy endoscopy suites, the platform enables healthcare providers to perform procedures more efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Commenting on the showcase at Endocon 2026, Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, said,”India’s gastroenterology landscape is evolving rapidly, with increasing demand for technologies that support both early diagnosis and advanced minimally invasive treatment. The expansion of our ELUXEO 8000 portfolio reflects FUJIFILM India’s commitment to equipping healthcare professionals with solutions that combine innovation, ease of use and clinical
confidence. Guided by our Group Purpose of ‘Giving our world more smiles,’ we remain focused on bringing advanced healthcare technologies closer to clinicians and patients across India.”

Adding to this, Mr. Dheeraj Chaudhri, Head – Endoscopy Systems Division, FUJIFILM India, said, “The new therapeutic 800 series future generation GI scopes includes gastroscopes, colonoscopes, Duodenoscopes and advance therapeutic scopes designed for clinicians for third space procedures, these latest scopes is expected to bring paradigm shift in the patient care with their unique features. We are glad to bring this innovation to India at the early. They have been designed to provide clinicians with better access, enhanced visualization and greater flexibility while performing complex gastrointestinal procedures. Together with the ELUXEO 8000 platform, these innovations will help simplify workflows and support better clinical outcomes, allowing gastroenterologists to focus on delivering the best possible care for their patients.”
