Balrampur: Rani Memorial Hospital Operating Without Registration Sealed

Maharajganj Tarai: The health department has started cracking down on hospitals and nursing homes running illegally without registration. On the instructions of DM Pawan Agarwal, a campaign is being run across the district and action is being taken against hospitals running illegally.

In this sequence, on Sunday, CHC Tulsipur Superintendent Dr. Vikalp Mishra inspected the private hospitals in the area. Rani Memorial Hospital running without registration was sealed.

The CHC superintendent said that Rani Memorial Hospital operating on Laliya Road was inspected. During the inspection, the operator could not show any records related to the registration of the hospital. A medical store was also found operating in the hospital. The medical store did not have a license. Not only this, many banned medicines were also found here. No degree holder doctor was also found present here. In view of these shortcomings, Rani Memorial Hospital has been sealed.

He also told that the complaint of giving commission to Asha for conducting deliveries in Rani Memorial Hospital was also received by the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mukesh Kumar Rastogi. On his instructions, the hospital was inspected and action was taken. On this occasion, pharmacist Shivpujan and constables of the local police station Deepak Gupta and Jyoti Shukla etc. were present.
