Centre for Sight Eye Care centre gets a high rise

New Delhi: Centre for Sight eye institute at Dwarka stands tall like a colossus. Today (Monday 30th April) saw the unveiling of this high rise of an eye care. It is being billed as North India’s first and largest private single specialty eye hospital, Centre for Sight eye institute spread over an area of 90000 sq ft housing all cutting edge eye care technology. It is slated to become the lodestone of eye care, research and development in the country.

The global grade institute was inaugurated by Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State {independent charge}of Housing and Urban affairs and Shri Anil Baijal, Lieutenant Governor , Delhi  with Shri Rajiv Gauba, Union Home Secretary  and Anshu Prakash,Chief Secretary, Delhi  graced the occasion as Guest of Honours. Many luminaries from various fields adorned the occasion.

It was a dream come true moment for Dr ( Padma shree) Mahipal Singh Sachdev , chairman and medical director , Centre For Sight group of eye hospitals, who first conceptualised and envisioned this project. Talking to Medicare News, Dr Sachdev said, ‘We have a bight legacy of about a decade and a half. We have always aimed high for quality eye care. Centre for Sight believes in bringing the best of technology within the reach of each bracket of society at an affordable cost.

Dr Mahipal further said, ‘With more than 20 consultation chambers, 8 state of the art and technologically advanced modular operation theatres, end to end eye care services with all super specialities of eye care viz retina, cataract, refractive surgery cornea, paediatric and neurophthalmology, ophthalmic plastic services, eye cancer care, under one roof, new Institute located at sector 9,   Dwarka aims to cater to not only Delhi-NCR but entire North India and beyond.’

With the aim of giving back to the society, the Centre for Sight group of hospitals has already been doing outreach activities in form of mobile van eye clinics, adoption of villages in and around Delhi, eye camps and outreach eye surgeries at subsidised cost. Under the Aegis of this Institute, the centre has opened a separate dedicated economic wing to support the economically weaker section and provide best of eye care services and technical advancements at a very affordable price.

Centre for Sight group of eye hospitals has a country wide presence with 47 well equipped eye centres. The institute adds another feather to its cap. With a rich experience of treating more than 50 lakh patients so far Centre for sight group with its newfound eye institute   is sure to spread the light of equitable, sustainable and affordable sight care to all.
