E-AUSHADHI Portal is live now

Most awaited portal E-AUSHADHI, finally made live by the Ministry of AYUSH to increase transparency and accountability for online licensing of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy drugs and related matters.

Shripad Yesso Naik, AYUSH Minister shared that this portal developed with the aim to give transparency, better information management facility and excellent data usability and increased accountability while addressing the gathering at the launch programme. He also made some points clear that there would be fixed timelines for application processing through the portal and user will get a text message and email status updates at each step of the application process. He also said that this kind of projects is an initiative of the Ministry of AYUSH as a reflection of our government’s commitment towards e-governance, ease of doing business and Make in India.

Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH also shared on the occasion of launching that the ministry endeavored to come out with new initiatives and solutions to address the problems faced by practitioners, manufacturers, and consumers of AYUSH medicines.

With the help of this portal, real-time information of the licensed manufactures can be obtained and it would aid the problems of licensing authority, manufactures, and consumers. The government can check the list of verified products, canceled and spurious drugs, contact details of the authority concerned for specific grievances at any time.
