Govt Job: For M.Pharm as Bench Chemist at CDSCO – Govt of India

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) is the Central Drug Authority for discharging functions assigned to the Central Government under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

CDSCO has six zonal offices, four sub-zonal offices, 13 port offices and seven laboratories under its control.

The Central Drugs Testing Laboratory, Hyderabad is statutory laboratory working under the administrative control of Drugs Controller General (India), CDSCO, a subordinate office of the Directorate General of Health Services under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has the vacancies against various outsourced positions as per details shown below.

Qualification & Experience :
•  Post Graduate Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Pharmaceutical chemistry from a recognized university with 60 % marks

• Candidates having knowledge of GLP/ ICH/ISO guidelines and experience in testing of drugs, cosmetics and medical devices as per Drugs Cosmetics Act will be given preference.

Job description
To perform analysis of Drugs, Cosmetics & Medical Devices in the laboratory for certifying their quality as per prescribed standards. Maintenance and calibration of various analytical instruments.

Maintenance of records as per Schedule L1. These duties will be carried out by the candidate under the supervision of Head of the Laboratory/Lab In-Charge.

He/she will be responsible for any other work/responsibilities assigned by the Head of Laboratory/ Lab In- Charge from time to time.

Receipt of application & Shortlisting for written test / Interview
a. In case, number of applications are high, suitable shortlisting criteria of candidates will be done with preference for candidates having desirable qualification and experience.

b. Written test or Interaction shall be communicated to shortlisted candidates.

The selected candidates will receive the appointment order from outsourcing agency.
