Govt Job: For M.Pharm, MS Pharm, M.Sc for a project sponsored NIPER

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, is an Institute of National Importance with the proclaimed objective of becoming a Centre of Excellence for advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences.

The NIPER-Mohali was the first institute established in the year 1998 under the aegis of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the Govt. of India.

Later, the DOP established 6 new NIPERs across the country including NIPER-Hyderabad which started functioning on 19th October 2007, from the premises of the erstwhile R&D Centre of IDPL, Balanagar, Hyderabad.

Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (SERB-SRG) under the supervision of Dr. Amol G. Dikundwar in Solid State Characterization group at Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, NIPER Hyderabad.

The title of the project is Co-amorphous Forms for Bioavailability Enhancement of Poorly Soluble Drugs: Design, Synthesis, Characterization, and in vivo Studies.

Essential Qualifications: M.Pharm./M.S.Pharm with Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Technology/Pharmaceutical Analysis specialization or M.Sc. Chemistry/Physics with Materials Science specialization/curriculum. Candidates with sound knowledge and demonstrated experience (e.g., Masters’s project thesis) in the field of solid-state pharmaceutics are preferred.

Age not exceeding 35 years as of the last date of application.

Salary: 31,000/- per month (plus HRA as per DST norms)
