Govt Job for Ph.D, M.Pharm as Research Associate at Centre of Bio Medical Research

Centre of Bio-Medical Research (CBMR) is committed to build a world class research institute dedicated to disease-oriented-research and to translate discoveries and observations of the laboratory into new diagnosis and therapies for the benefit of humanity.

Research at CBMR emphasizes the creation of (basic) knowledge in the chemical and biosciences for its application in diagnosis and therapies, the pursuit of fundamental scientific advances through interdisciplinary programs and collaborations, and the education and training of researchers preparing to meet the biomedical challenges of the future.

Post :Research Associate (RA)

Project Title : Chemoenzymatic, Asymmetric, Total Synthesis of Nodulones and Their Non-Natural Analogs using a Fungal Oxidoreductase Enzyme and its Biosynthetic Implications

Principal Investigator : Dr. Syed Masood Husain
Funding Agency : CSIR HRDG Extramural Division

Fellowship : As per CSIR Research Scheme Guidelines, fellowship with Ph.D. will be Rs. 47,000/ per month + HRA as per rule. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project subject to the condition that the same may be terminated earlier on one month notice of either side.

The fellowship amount will be determined based on the educational qualification and experiences.

Duration :  Initially one year (Extendable upto 3 years based on performance)

Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Chemistry / Biochemistry or equivalent OR having 3 years of research, teaching and design development experience in MPharma

Desirable Qualification : Experience in multistep organic synthesis with interdisciplinary research experience and good publication record will be preferred.

Age Upper age limit : 35 Years (Age relaxation as per CSIR rules)
