Post : Project Associate-I/NGS Data Analyst, Lab Technician, Quality control consultant / Research Associate

Position : 1 Project Associate-I / NGS Data Analyst (1)

Project Title :  Documentation and Validation of Traditional Healthcare Knowledge of Indian Himalayan Region: Translational approach

Remuneration : Rs.31,000/- + @ 16% HRA per month

Eligibility Criteria : Candidates having M.Sc. / M. Tech / M. Pharm. / M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ computational Biology, Microbiology etc.) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (relaxation will be given as per GOI guideline) are eligible to apply. Candidate having experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis and working knowledge of Linux, Python and R will be given preference.

Preference will be given to national level entrance test (NET/GATE/GPAT) qualified candidates. For non-NET/GATE candidates, the fellowship would be applicable as per DST guidelines.

Age Limit : The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 35 years as on last date of application. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

Position : 2 Lab Technician (1)

Project Title : Documentation and Validation of Traditional Healthcare Knowledge of Indian Himalayan Region: Translational approach.

Remuneration : Rs.20,000/- + @ 16% HRA per monthEligibility Criteria : B.Sc. in any branch of Life Science. Candidates having working experience in Biological research laboratories and DMLT qualification will be preferred.

Position : 3 Quality control consultant / Research Associate (2)

Project Title : Establish state of the art clinical-immunogenicity assay platform to facilitate COVID-19 vaccine development.

Remuneration : Rs. 1,50,000/- per month (consolidated) (negotiable based on experience).

Eligibility Criteria : M.Sc. / Ph.D. in any branch of Biological Science/ Life Science with minimum 5 years of research experience.

Desirable : Experience in assessing and guiding on the quality assessment parameters of assays, report generation, SOP generation, documentation and application for ISO and NABL accreditation. Candidates with Ph.D. in Immunology or extensive expertise in Immunological techniques like Flow Cytometry, ELISA and cell culture will be preferred.

Age Limit : The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 50 years as on last date of application. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an interview process.
