Govt Job: For Pharmacist to Join Reserve Bank of India

The Reserve Bank of India, chiefly known as the RBI, is India’s central bank and the regulatory body responsible for the regulation of the Indian banking system.

It is under the ownership of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. It is responsible for the control, issue, and maintaining the supply of the Indian rupee.

Post: Pharmacist

The Reserve Bank of India, Jammu (the Bank) invites applications from qualified pharmacists for filling up to 01(one) post as a Pharmacist on a contract basis with hourly remuneration for a maximum period of 240 days, which may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance of the Pharmacist.

Qualification:
a) Matriculation or its equivalent examination.

b) A Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University registered under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 with a minimum of 50% marks.

c) Registration certificate from the Pharmacy council of J&K.

d) Basic working knowledge of computers.

e) Minimum experience of 3 years as a pharmacist. Experience with PSB’s/PSU’s/Government organizations will be given preference.

ii. The candidates from nearby Districts will be given preference.

iii. The services rendered by the Pharmacist will not confer on him any right for a contemporary or permanent post in the Bank’s service.

iv. The Pharmacist will not be a regular employee of the Bank and will not be entitled to any facilities admissible to regular employees of the Bank.

v. The Bank shall have the right to stop utilizing the services of the Pharmacist at any time without any notice or reason thereof.

Remuneration: Rs. 400/-per hour for the entire period of the contract.
The Pharmacist will be paid a fixed remuneration at the rate of Rs 400/- per hour with a maximum period of five hours per day, not exceeding a maximum of Rs 2000/-per day, and will not be entitled to any pay, allowance, or any other perks/facilities.

Location & Working Hours (@) :
1. Main Office Building Reserve Bank of India, Rail Head Complex, Jammu-180012     14:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs (Monday to Friday)

2. RBI Staff Colony, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu – 180012     16:15 hrs to 18:45 hrs (Monday to Friday) 10:00 hrs to 13:30 hrs on Saturday.

However, whenever the necessity arises the Pharmacist will be required to work in any of the Bank’s dispensaries at Jammu during the working hours of that dispensary and remuneration will be paid depending upon the number of hours, for which the services of the Pharmacists will be utilized by the Bank.

Selection Procedure:

i. The selection will be made through interviews of eligible candidates. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final.

The Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants not called for an interview.

The interview will be held at the Reserve Bank of India, Rail Head Complex, Jammu-180012.

ii. Candidates will be short-listed for interview on the basis of overall education qualifications (PG/Degree/Diploma, Distance from RBI Jammu, experience with PSBs/PSU’s/Government organizations).

A maximum of 10 candidates will be called for an interview (which can vary in case of a tie).

iii. Applicants short-listed after the interview will be subject to medical examination and document verification process before engagement as pharmacists.

iv. The selected applicant has to sign a Contract with the Bank before engagement as a Pharmacist (on a Contract basis) with fixed hourly remuneration.

The candidates may send their applications in the enclosed format along with photocopies of certificates of professional/academic/other qualifications and age proof to the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Human Resource Management Department, Recruitment Section, Rail Head Complex, Jammu, J&K-180012 so as to reach the bank on or before October 14, 2022. Candidates having requisite qualifications and suitable experience will be short-listed for interview.

Mere possession of eligibility criteria will not confer any right on a candidate to be called for an interview.

The envelope containing the Application should be super scribed “Application for the post of Pharmacist on Contract Basis”.
