One Held With 1200 Narcotic Capsules, Syrup Bottles In Kurukshetra

KURUKSHETRA: The Kurukshetra unit of Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) arrested one man after recovering 1,200 narcotic capsules and 38 syrup bottles from Ravidass Chowk at Jhansa road in Kurukshetra on Thursday.

The arrested accused has been identified as Satish Kumar alias Bittu of Gandhi Nagar, Kurukshetra. Accused was produced in the district court on Friday, which granted his five-day police remand to HSNCB Kurukshetra unit.
As per HSNCB, the accused was planning to supply narcotics drugs from Uttar Pradesh to Punjab, who was nabbed at Kurukshetra.

In this relation a case has been registered under the NDPS Act at Krishna Gate police station in Kurukshetra and further investigation is being done.

HSNCB Kurukshetra unit inspector Sukhpal Singh appealed to the general public and said that if anyone sees drugs being sold anywhere, then without any worry, the public should inform on toll free number 90508-91508.
