Smuggler Arrested With 1600 Narcotic Injections

Rudrapur:  STF ‘s Narcotics Task Force, Rudrapur took swift action against drug abuse and recovered huge quantities of drug injections from an interstate smuggler.

STF, in a joint operation with Kichha police station, arrested a smuggler Veerpal son of Harish Kumar resident of Sharif Nagar police station Devraniyan district Bareilly from near Pantpura Tiraha. A total of 1600 banned drug injections were recovered from his possession.

During interrogation, accused Veerpal said that he had brought these injections from a person named Arvind of Bareilly, whom he was taking to Rudrapur, Kichha. This is sold at a good price in retail in Rudrapur, Kichha area.

The accused said that he often brings narcotic injections from Bareilly. The criminal record of the accused is being investigated.
