Super Bikers Rally @ Dwarka to grab Attention of People around COVID 19

New Delhi: A team of 60 Bikers today took 5-km expedition from Sub Divisional Magistrate Office, Sector 10, Dwarka to create awareness among the public on the most pressing current population health issue – prevention against highly infectious COVID-19. Organised by South West Delhi District Administration and supported by HCMCT Manipal Hospitals, Dwarka as Medical Partner, the Bike Rally culminated at Vegas Mall, Sector 14, Dwarka. The theme of the rally was ‘Let’s Fight Corona,’ and it was essentially a ride to aware Appropriate Behaviour of COVID-19.

Flagging off the Rally, South West Delhi District Magistrate Naveen Aggarwal said, “With this rally, we aim to sensitize people on protection and safeguard against Coronavirus which has taken a heavy toll on human lives. Social distancing, use of masks, frequent hand washing, and sanitizers are the most effective protective measures we can take until the drug or vaccines are available. He emphasised that people should wear a mask properly.”

He urged all bikers to aware at least 10 people at their level. “Each one of you, at a personal level, should teach 10 people. By doing so, we can target nearly 1,000 people in one go,” he added. The Rally witnessed huge support from residents and fitness enthusiasts. Manipal Ambulance Response Service (MARS), as a medical partner, accompanied the Bikers throughout the route.
