Arrested For Smuggling Large Quantities Of Intoxicating Drugs

Mahasamund : Dharmendra Singh (IPS) received information that illegal trade of prohibited drug injections, drug capsules and syrup is being done in large quantities in Basna and Bhawarpur area. Cough syrup and intoxicating capsules, medicines brought from other states are being sold in large quantities in Mahasamund district and neighboring districts.

Taking the information seriously, Superintendent of Police Mahasamund, directed all police station/outpost in-charges and cyber cell team to identify such people and take action against the accused involved in this illicit business. The cyber cell team was looking for the address of the people transporting illegal narcotics Cough Syrup and intoxicating capsules by employing informers.

On 04.12.2022, information was received that the operator of Rajesh Medical Stores shop located at Badesajapali of Chowki Bhawarpur area has kept Cough Syrup, injection, and intoxicating tablets for sale in his medical shop. The shop was raided by the police team after reaching Rajesh Medical Stores shop on the tip of the informer. In which the owner of the medical shop, named Rajesh Sahu, father Visambhar Sahu, age 29 years, village Shalkhand Chowki Bhawarpur was present.

When the shop was searched by the team, (01) Istaclon injection (Tramadol) 1470 nos. worth Rs.21315 in a mono cartoon (02) Tricare injection (Tramadol) 100 mg. 75 Nos Worth Rs.1875 (03) Tramadol (Tamadol) Injection 10 MG. 59 Nos worth Rs 1532 (04) Tramadol Paracetamol Tablets (Geotram) 647 Nos worth Rs 5499 (05) Alvari (Alfazoram) Tablets 250 Nos worth Rs 897 (06) Domadol Plus Tablets 70 Nos worth Rs 737, 1 No Mobile Priced Rs 15000 Rupees and cash amount of Rs.5000, total Jumla worth Rs.51855 was seized from the possession of the accused. Action is being taken against the accused under crime number 642/22 section 21 of the Narcotic Act in Basna police station.

This entire action was taken under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh (IPS), Additional Superintendent of Police Akash Rao and Sub-Officer (Po) Mahasamund Mrs. Manjulata Baj, Cyber ​​Cell in-charge, Sub-Inspector Naseem Uddin, Station Incharge Basna Uni0 Vinod Netam, Chowki Incharge Bhawarpur Uni0 Yogesh Soni, Uni0 Praveen Shukla Uni0 Lalit Chandra, Uni0 Shyama Charan Dhruv Pr0 Minesh Dhruv, R. Hemant Nayak, Chandramani Yadav, Degree Lal, Sandeep Bhoi, Virendra Sahu, Dev Kosaria, Jitendra Bagh, Saurabh Tomar, Chhatrapal Sinha and police station Basna.
