Firozpur STF Arrested Drug Smuggler With 1100 Intoxicating Pills

Firozpur : As part of the anti-drug campaign being run by the Firozpur STF Range of Punjab, a medical drug smuggler has been arrested with 1100 drug pills. A case has been registered against the accused in STF police station Mohali under NDPS Act. Police remand of the accused is being obtained from the court for further interrogation.

SI Paramjit Singh of Firozpur, STF Range, said that the accused Darshan Singh, son of Hakam Singh, resident of Sohangarh Ratte, Guruharsahay, has been arrested along with intoxicating pills. Where did the accused bring this medical drug from and where did he supply it further? Police remand is being taken by presenting the accused in the court for questioning, so that this can be revealed.

The prevalence of medical addiction has been increasing rapidly for some time in Ferozepur district, which is notorious for heroin smuggling. Although the Punjab Government has already banned such medicines which are consumed as intoxicants in any form, yet with the increase in demand for medical drugs, medical drug smugglers are also growing rapidly. , which is a matter of great concern.
