Students Will Not Be Able To Take Admission In Pharmacy Institutes With Fake Documents, Strict Monitoring

Jaipur: To provide quality education in pharmacy institutes, the central government has prepared to end the duplicate system. Strict action will be taken against fake students and teachers in newly opened pharmacy institutes. Fake students and teachers will be easily identified with the new online system in the institutes. Pharmacy institutes will not be able to hide any facts about students, faculty, infrastructure, manpower and equipment.

Students and teachers should have smart cards during the inspection of the Pharmacy Council. Now registration on the Central Government’s Pharmacy Council of India New Delhi portal will also be mandatory. The reason for the absence of the faculty will also have to be given. If this is not done, the recognition of the concerned institute may be in danger. PCI New Delhi Deputy Secretary Pratima Tiwari has set criteria for the new institutes to be opened in the session 2024-25.

Letters have been written to pharmacy institutes, examination authorities and state governments across the country including Rajasthan to follow the rules. As per the rules, QR code should be active on the equipment used in class, lab, common facility, library books, bachelor and master degree. If the QR code does not work during inspection, the institute will be put in the list of deficiencies. Not only this, the infrastructure should also not be without QR code. Inspections will be done only through the mobile inspection application made available in Google Play Store.

These documents are mandatory during inspection { Smart card along with registration of students and teachers on the portal. Keeping a record of attendance of both (In case of absence, reasons have to be given) Students and faculty have to link their Aadhar card by visiting the PCI portal.
