Nearly two thirds (67%) of worldwide adult population has oral herpes (HSV 1) and 417 millions have genital herpes (HSV-2) according to World Health Orginization. There are approximately 3.7 billion people with the infection and this number is growing everyday. Finding a treatment for this ailment can certainly be a hard task. There are several prescription medications available but they can be terribly expensive and they can cacuse side effect and do very little to boost the immune system which helps your body fight outbreaks naturally.

There are a few homeopathic medications available that do help the body’s own immune system fight the Herpes Virus. Some contain all-natural ingredients that have been used for generations to maintain a healthy immune system. Products containing Hyssop, Zinc, L-Lysine, B vitamins, and Coenzyme Q10 have been proven to help the body fight off herpes outbreaks and greatly reduce the severity of herpes. Many of these alternatives help boost the body’s natural immune defense system and get rid of herpes simplex virus forever.

Herpes outbreaks are caused by the herpes simplex virus. This virus is separated into two different types. Type 1 (oral herpes or HSV1) and Type 2 (genital herpes or HSV2). Oral herpes can cause blisters or cold sores around the mouth area. It is transmitted through oral secretions or the sores themselves on the skin. It is typically spread by kissing and sharing things like water bottles, cigarettes etc…..HSV1 can also be the cause of HSV2 but in most cases HSV2 is transmitted via other HSV2 infected individuals. The HSV2 blisters can be painful and itchy. These blisters eventually fill up with a clear puss-like fluid and eventually burst leaving the person with open sores.

With or without visible symptoms, the virus can be transmitted between sexual partners, from mothers to children and can increase an individuals risk of becoming infected with HIV. Herpes may actually play a role in the spread of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Herpes can make people more susceptible to HIV infection, and it can make HIV-infected individuals more infectious.

How is Herpes Diagnosed?

Herpes diagnosis is typically performed by a doctor who will either take a blood sample or a fluid sample from a cold sore. Doctors are able to diagnose genital herpes simply by a visual inspection. If the individual is between outbreaks, it is much more difficult to diagnose visually and this is where a blood test may be necessary to confirm infection.

Herpes Symptoms

Herpes, unfortunately is a chronic viral infection that lasts a lifetime. The telltale symptoms that happen on the first outbreak can be very noticeable. The first outbreak will typically happen within 14 days of the virus being transmitted. The sores heal in about 15-30 days but you may experience additional outbreaks within this time period as well as flu like symptoms such as fever and swollen glands. After the first outbreak, victims will typically get 4-5 outbreaks every year for the rest of their life. If the herpes is genital, they can be extremely painful and can be more pronounced with people that have suppressed immune systems.

Symptoms of an outbreak can include:

  • Facial sores, tingling, burning, itching, and redness to the infected area where an outbreak is about to occur.
  • Painful, itchy blistering on the male penis, the vulva, or even on the inside of the vagina. Blistering can also appear on the buttocks, anus, thighs, and scrotum. Some of these blisters can become the size of a small coin.
  • Painful blisters that rupture and become sores.
  • Painful urination, abnormal vaginal or urethral discharge may be present
  • Flu-like symptoms such as fever, headache, and muscle aches.
  • Fever blisters/Cold sores around the mouth
  • An individual may experience these outbreaks weeks or even years after they have been infected. Symptoms of herpes infections in both primary and recurrent outbreaks tend to be more harsh in women than in men.

The Herpes Epidemic And Herpes Cure Explained

Herpes viruses cause some of the most common of human diseases: herpes type I (cold sores) and herpes type II (genital herpes). Genital herpes is now an epidemic and is probably the most common form of sexually transmitted disease. Unfortunately, there are other more serious conditions associated with herpes virus infections. Herpes viruses have been implicated as factors in several type of human cancer including Burkitt’s lymphoma, nasopharyngeal cancers, cervical carcinoma, and possibly colon cancer and some forms of breast and liver cancers. Herpes is a persistent virus; once a person is infected by the herpes, he or she remains infected for life even if there are no symptoms most of the time.

The herpes virus inserts a few copies of its own genetic information into the DNA of many of your own cells. Once this information is inserted, there is no way available as of yet to remove it. The herpes information seems to remain inactive until the cell’s genetic material is damaged, when the herpes nucleic acid may become activated. This damage may occur as a result of ultra violet light exposure, emotional stress, or illness, which reduces the ability of your immune system to control the newly created virus particles. The appearance of these newly made viruses are associated with symptoms such as cold sores or burning and itching genititalia.

Herpes viruses belong to a class of viruses that have lipid (fatty) coat surrounding their protein and nucleic acid core. This coat makes it difficult for immune system antibodies and white blood cells to recognize the virus as foreign because the fatty coat is made up of material normally found in our tissues. Other lipid coated viruses are implicated in persistent virus degenerative diseases: For example, measles virus antibodies are found in far larger than normal numbers in victims of multiple sclerosis.

There is no new or real breakthrough development on medication or vaccines or cure for herpes and it probably won’t be on the market for the next 10 years. Since pharmasutical industry does not have and promising candidate at the momment and FDA aprovall process can take around 8-10 years. The only compound that has low toxicity and helps human body fight the virus is a natural remedies and strong immune system. And in many scientifical studies natural remedies where proven to be effective against herpes. Which has found to kill all small nucleic acid core diameter, lipid-coated viruses tested, including herpes. Molecules in the lipid coat surrounding herpes viruses are spirally arrayed very tightly about the nucleic acid core, like the spiral steps in a lighthouse staircase, with considerable steric strains. When specific natural compound dissolves into this lipid coat, it destabilizes these hydrogen bonds so that the coat is stripped off. Once the lipid coat is stripped, the white blood cells and antibodies (enzymes that destroy unprotected DNA) recognize the foreign viral nucleic acid and accompanying foreign proteins and destroy it.
