Heart Care Foundation of India Launches Weekly Clinic on His Birth Anniversary & Teacher’s Day
New Delhi: Late iconic Dr K K Aggarwal, who sacrificed his life treating lakhs of COVID patients online and offline, was remembered on Teacher’s Day which coincides with his birthday anniversary. As a tribute to him, a free weekly clinic opened on this day to carry forward his legacy. Padmashree Dr Aggarwal was termed People’s healer. It was he who started Health Mela in India.
On the occasion Aggarwal’s birth anniversary and Teacher’s Day, the Heart Care Foundation of India (HCFI) announced the launch of Dr KK’s HCFI Free Weekly Health Clinic, starting 5th September 2025. The initiative is a tribute to his legacy as a teacher, mentor, and visionary in healthcare, and reflects his guiding principle that “The show must go on.”
The clinic will operate every Friday from 10 AM to 1 PM at 296/9, Amritpuri-B, Garhi, East of Kailash, Opposite Gali, ISKCON Temple, New Delhi – 110065, providing free and subsidised healthcare services to underserved communities.
Key Facilities at the Clinic include:
- Preliminary screening and support for children living with heart disease but unable to afford treatment
- Free doctor consultation
- Free BMI and BP check-ups
- Referrals for affordable blood and urine tests, ECG, Echo, and other diagnostics
- Preventive and supportive care for underserved sections of society
- CPR training
Dr KK Aggarwal’s life was devoted to the mission of making healthcare more accessible and understandable for all. Through his decades of medical practice, tireless public education, and pioneering use of technology to spread awareness, he touched millions of lives. His teachings went beyond medicine, he inspired people to embrace compassion, discipline, and knowledge-sharing as essential values in everyday life.
