Excise Officials Seized 103 Kg Of Midazolam Worth Over 2 Crore

Hyderabad: Excise officials on Thursday caught 103 kg of midazolam, a scheduled psychotropic substance, worth 2.3 crore from a pharma unit at Gandi Maisamma crossroads in Dundigal in Medchal Malkajgiri district.

Excise joint commissioner (enforcement) Qureshi said, “The pharma unit failed to show proof.” Since poll schedule annoucement, 439 crore worth of cash, gold, liquor and ganja has been seized.
