Recently the news that made all of us shocked that school kids were used as drug mules by a man to send MD/Meow Meow to his clients. Mumbai police narcotics cell nabbed him red-handed through a special joint operation.

Kids are very innocent and they can be misused very easily. School children happily deliver the packets of MD(Mephedrone) and commonly known as Meow Meow for college goers in return for a chocolate or video game. The accused, Asif Iqbal Khan(34 years old) was a history-sheeter and supplied drugs to the college students mainly in Andheri’s DN Nagar area. He was using kids by giving them video games and chocolates in return. Iqual is a good player in this matter and following many tricks to run his business safely, But Police want to make his arrest as he was under scanner. Anil Wadhawane and his team decided to pose as customers to held him red handed and their trick works and they made his arrest. 58 grams of MD was also recovered in Iqbal’s possession.

Mumbai police continued making efforts to crack down on illegal drugs in and around Mumbai’s suburbs.

And another case is reported from Chennai, where minors were abused sexually at an unlicensed private care home. This case was exposed just because of the legal awareness camp at a government school in Chennai, where the kids from the private care center studied. During the camp, 4 girls out of 11 students from private care center approached the judicial magistrates Anitha Ananth, B Soundarya and shared their story of sexual abusement at their care home for years. Judges took instant action and launched an investigation on this matter with the help of District Child Protection Officer and personnel of the all-women police station.

During the investigation, Police found the Private care home was owned by C Jacob and his wife Vimala and running care home with an expired license that had expired in 2015. And Police also found that Jacob also running “Eternal Word Trust” which operates the orphanage-cum-primary school in Saraswathi Nagar in Thirumullaivoyal. When police investigate the center and they found other children are also suffering from sexual abusement at the care home. With taking an instant decision, police rescued 24 girls and 20 boys to other safe homes. 64 years old owner Jacob and his 54 years old wife along with home manager R Bhaskar and Staff member R Muthu abused minors physically and assaulted them regularly. A case has been filed against the accused under section 5, 6 and 17 of the POCSO Act at the Avadi all women police station.

One more case reported that 34 minor girls were raped by owner Brajesh Thakur at the Muzaffarpur shelter home in Bihar.
