Smuggler arrested with Narcotic Pills in Ludhiana

Jagraon, Ludhiana:  A truck driver has been arrested with narcotic pills in Ludhiana. The accused Sukhdeep Singh alias Jagga is a resident of Kamalpura. The Jagraon CIA staff caught the accused from Dana Mandi of Jattpura village. According to ASI Sukhdev Singh of the CIA staff, the accused works as a truck driver.

After delivering the goods to other states, he used to buy narcotic pills from there. Then he used to supply them in different areas of Punjab. Police had received secret information that the accused had brought narcotic pills from UP. He was sitting in the truck in Dana Mandi of Jattpura and was waiting for customers. During the raid, police recovered 1440 narcotic pills from the accused.

The accused has been identified as Sukhdeep Singh alias Jagga, resident of Kamalpura village. Police have registered a case against the accused in Hathoor police station. The investigating officer said that a case of opium smuggling has already been registered against the accused. Police have presented the accused in the court. During the remand, the police will find out to whom the accused used to supply narcotic pills in Punjab.
