Raids On 8 Quacks And Medical Stores In Nokha Panchu Area

Bikaner:  Under Operation Black Thunder, rapid action was taken against eight quacks and medical stores in Nokha Panchu area, in which illegally operating clinics were found. While at some medical stores, tests were being conducted with CBC machines.

CMHO Dr. Rajesh Gupta said that during inspection at Maa Medical and General Store Janglu, tests were found being conducted with the CBC machine, and no pharmacist was found on the spot. This unregistered institute was sealed on the spot.

Another unnamed medical store and quack clinic was also sealed in Janglu. In Panchu, the clinic, medical store and lab operating in the name of Krishna Hospital were sealed because neither a doctor nor a pharmacist nor a lab technician was found on the spot and there was no registration of any kind either.

In Panchu, a quack operating in the name of Balaji Health Care Center was sealed. Expired medicines were also found here. There was no pharmacist at Shri Jai Hanuman Medical Store in Palana and an illegal clinic was also found running on a cot in the back room. This was also sealed.

Similarly, in village Jegla, during inspection of a quacks clinic, the operator ran away and it was sealed. Similarly, action was also taken against an illegal quack clinic running in the name of Doctor Kaushik in Panchu.

CMHO Dr Rajesh Kumar Gupta conducted surprise inspections of Community Health Center Panchu, Kakku, Primary Health Center Palana, Janglu and Sub Health Center Jegla.

In Palana Hospital, Dr. Priyanshi Maru, Lab Technician Rajesh Rajpurohit, LHV Shobhana K V, Health Supervisor Amita Acharya and Ghanshyam Sharma were found absent without information and show cause notices will be issued to them. Biometric attendance machines were not found in most hospitals, on which CMHO immediately instructed to start attendance through biometrics. Instructions were given to increase cleanliness and institutional deliveries in hospitals.
