Punjabi Singer Chhinda Was Running The Fake Medicine Factory In Mohali, Three Luxury Cars Recovered

Mohali:  Chhinda Singh, a resident of Pinjore, who owned a fake medicine factory in MK Technology Park in village Tangori on Landran-Banur Road, is a Punjabi singer. Recently, his song with a famous Punjabi singer has also been released. This was revealed during the interrogation of the three arrested accused.

During remand, the police have also recovered three luxury cars with VIP numbers from the accused. These include two Fortuners and a top model Scorpio car. The police have taken all three cars into possession. The police are assuming that these cars have been purchased from the money earned from fake medicines. Now it is being investigated.

Apart from Chhinda Singh, the police had arrested Harpreet Singh, resident of village Surajpur (Panchkula) and Sumit Kumar, resident of village Nirjapur in this case. The accused are on four-day police remand. According to police sources, Chhinda Singh, the kingpin of the fake medicine factory, has studied pharmacy and earlier he used to work in a pharma company in Baddi. It is from there that he learnt about making medicines.

During interrogation, the accused also revealed that they had rented land in MK Technology Park in Tangori village on Landran-Banur Road to manufacture fake medicines. Brand new machines were installed on the first and second floors of the factory, which were used to manufacture fake BP and sugar medicines.

The accused used to supply fake medicines in Delhi-UP and other states. They used to sell fake medicines by packing them in the wrappers of big and famous companies.

There was no board of any kind outside the factory where fake medicines were being made so that no one could know that medicines are made there. The accused were secretly making fake medicines here. As soon as the stock of fake medicines was ready, it was being packed in the wrappers of famous companies and supplied to Delhi, UP and other states. Soon Mohali police will take the accused to UP so that this entire network of fake medicines can be disclosed.

A few days ago, the police received a tip-off that some people in MK Park Tangori were involved in the business of making and selling fake medicines. IT City Police SHO Simarjit Singh Shergill along with the police team raided the park’s plot number 597. Investigation revealed that many types of fake medicines, including BP and sugar, were made in the factory. The police recovered the packaging of Telma M, Clav from the factory. According to the police, Telma manufacturer makes many types of tablets, which are used in serious diseases.
